Artist's Comments

Here's my tribute for the 92nd Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. This is actually the second version I ended up with, cause the first I saved accidentally had a white space near the top, cause some layer got moved and I didn't notice it (the way The GIMP outlines the bottom layer was just enough to cover it up). But either way, I think this turned out much better than I expected.

Please comment, but ANY disrespectful comments will cause me to disable comments. This is a place for art. If you seriously disagree with this, then say so in a RESPECTFUL way (i.e. use "I believe that...", or "I think that...").

The preview is only 600 pixels, but if you want to download the file, it's in 1600x1200 resolution. If you want to resize it yourself for personal use, you can use IrfanView, which is free to download.

If you're going to use this image on your computer as a desktop, please let me know. I'd appreciate that.

Second image on the left, from ArmenianHouse

Quote from The Bible (obviously), which I found on this Deviation. The quote itself is what inspired this piece.

I can tell. You did a good job on it.

After watching this I went to the wikipedia and read a bit about Armenia's history and the genocide, later looked for more info on the books at home.
Now I know, thank you.
